I have always had a passion for hair, beauty and fashion. As a young girl I used to spend hours in the bathroom trying out new styling techniques on my own hair. Although I first began cutting and coloring friends hair in high school, it took five years of college, and several career changes before I actually decided to turn my hobby into a career.
I attended cosmetology school at Douglas J Aveda Instute in East Lansing, MI in 2003. Immediately upon graduation I was hired at EnStyle Salon in Okemos, MI and worked there for a year before transferring to The Essential Hair & Body Salon, also in Okemos, and worked there for another two years. I then spent five years styling at Changes Hair Design, in Haslett, MI and in April of 2012 I finally opened a salon in my own home, Salon Juleen.
My specialties are updo’s and formal styles. I am always excited to help you look and feel your best on your special day. I am also available to work on location at your special event. I use a variety of product lines including Aquage, Tigi, Redken, Matrix, and Rusk, and I am a Certified Pravana Colorist. I am also certified to offer you the Pravana Perfection and the Brazilian Keratin Treatment.
